This policy explains what Waqt Gurus Consulting collects when you visit waqtgurus.com or send us a message, why we collect it, and how long we keep it. It covers this website only.

Who we are

Waqt Gurus Consulting is an executive coaching practice run by Rohit Singla and Deepa Singla. We are the data controller for anything described here. You can reach us at hello@waqtgurus.com.

What we collect

When you send us a message

The contact form asks for your name, email address, and message, and optionally your phone number, company, website, and which of our services you are interested in. It also records which page you submitted from, so we can tell a home-page enquiry from a contact-page one.

The form is handled by FormSubmit, which delivers the contents to our inbox. We use it because it lets this site stay static — there is no database here, and nothing you type is stored on this website. FormSubmit processes the submission on our behalf; see the FormSubmit site for their terms. A hidden field on the form catches automated spam; it collects nothing from you.

When you browse the site

We use Google Analytics 4, loaded through a Google Tag Manager container, to understand which pages are read and which pieces of writing people follow. This records things like the pages you view, roughly where in the world you are, your device and browser, and how you arrived. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to do this. We have configured it for reporting, not advertising, and we do not build profiles or run remarketing.

Our web host, AWS Amplify Hosting, keeps standard server logs including IP addresses, as any web server does.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with anyone beyond the providers named here.

Why we are allowed to do this

We handle enquiry details because you asked us to get in touch, and because we have a legitimate interest in responding. We use analytics under our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used. Where your local law requires consent for analytics cookies, you can withhold it using the controls below.

How long we keep it

Enquiries stay in our email for as long as the conversation is live and for up to two years afterwards, so we can pick up where we left off. Analytics data is retained by Google for fourteen months and is aggregated — we cannot identify you from it.

Your choices

• You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@waqtgurus.com and we will respond within thirty days.
• You can block analytics cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's opt-out add-on.
• Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies entirely. Nothing on this site breaks if you do.

Links out

Much of our writing is published on LinkedIn and Vimeo, and links in the Insights library take you there. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and this one does not apply once you leave.

Changes

If we change what we collect, we will update this page and the date at the top. There is no mailing list to notify.
